Der Gipfel bildet den südlichsten Punkt des <a href="Morteratschgletscher" title="Morteratschgletscher">Morteratschgletschers</a>. Er ist auf Schweizer Seite vollkommen verfirnt und auf der italienischen Seite felsig.
</p><p>Der Berg ist vom <a href="Rifugio_Marco_e_Rosa" title="Rifugio Marco e Rosa">Rifugio Marco e Rosa</a> aus auf einer eigenständigen Tour im Schwierigkeitsgrad <a href="SAC-Berg-_und_Hochtourenskala" title="SAC-Berg- und Hochtourenskala">WS</a> erreichbar.
